ITG helps improve the competitiveness and technological development of organizations through the promotion and implementation of their own projects and third-party projects in Applied Investigation, Development, Innovation and Technology Transfer.

Established in 1991 as a non-profit foundation by the Official Associations of Architects, Civil Engineers and Industrial Engineers of Galicia (see more), our extensive experience has made us a National Technological Center officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of the Government of Spain, an Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI), also official recognized, and be part of the governing council of the Spanish Federation of Technological Centers (FEDIT) since 2010. ITG’s director is currently its president and represents 34 centers with 3,341 employees and 247 million euros in revenue.

ITG is a National Technological Center officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, registered under number 115.

Our Quality Management System is certified in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard, and our R&D&I Management System under the UNE 166002 standard.

The ITG staff combines their scientific and technical knowledge with an extensive experience in business, meeting the technological demands of the industry from a holistic perspective.

PRINCIPIA 2017/2018 program “Grants to encourage the recruitment of technical staff for R&D&I activities in research companies and institutions in Galicia”. Code IN848C. RIS3 – PEME INNOVA Program

Re-Acciona program “Competitive potential analysis services, professionalization and strategic development” whose objective is to foster ITG’s growth and stability and improve its financing, technology and access to advanced support services. An operation co-financed by the European Union as part of the FEDER Galicia 2014-2020 Operational Program.

Talento Senior 2018 Program. Grants for the recruitment of highly-qualified staff for R&D&I activities (Official Gazette of Galicia, DOG, 28/09/2018). Code IN858A. RIS3 Innovative Entrepreneurship Program.

Aids from the Regional Government of Galicia with funding from the European Union for the “Consolidation and structuring of consolidated Technology Centers” to fund structural and operating costs. The purpose of these aids is to encourage the transfer of research results, knowledge and technological capacities from the centers to the market.

Programs for the Support of Research Staff or Support of the Transfer of Research Results activities, both nationally (OTRI Support Technicians Program, INNCORPORA 2012 Subprogram, and Torres Quevedo Program), and regionally (Isabel Barreto Human Resources Program, within the IN.CI.TE. program of the Galicia Regional Government).

Aids from the Regional Government of Galicia with funding from the European Union for the “Strengthening of Technology Centers”. The UAVLab infrastructure project constitutes a value-added technological base for the provision of sophisticated and distinctive services in the UAVs sector, contributing to the takeoff of this industry by developing services and validating new technologies so Galician SMEs can compete in an international framework.
