CAPITÁN
Control centre for port aerial operations with uncrewed and autonomous systems

Description
CAPITAN aims to develop an advanced control centre to manage aerial operations in port environments using uncrewed and autonomous systems. In a context of increasing port digitalisation, the project focuses on improving the efficiency, coordination, and safety of activities such as monitoring, maintenance, and logistics.
This initiative provides a solution that centralises planning, monitoring, and operational control, enabling real-time decision-making and coordination among stakeholders. It also integrates multiple data sources to enhance mission traceability and optimise resource usage.
The project promotes the adoption of advanced digital technologies in port environments, enabling new services and supporting more efficient, automated, and sustainable operations.
Objective:
The main objective of CAPITÁN is to develop a solution that enables the centralized and efficient management of air operations in port environments through the use of uncrewed and autonomous systems, improving safety, coordination, and monitoring capabilities. The project also aims to facilitate mission planning and tracking, optimize resource utilization, and promote the integration of digital technologies that drive innovation and modernization in the port environment.
