Description

Drone Finder aims to improve the location and rescue processes in public emergency services through innovation in the use of advanced technologies. In particular, the project aims to strengthen the use of drones to locate missing persons.

Drone Finder proposes the acquisition of appropriate equipment to improve the success and safety of search operations: aerial and terrestrial drones, adapted vehicles, surveillance systems and communication systems. Specific software will be designed for the correct management of this equipment and artificial intelligence will be trained to detect missing persons through an artificial vision system that will be integrated into the drones.

In addition, ways of applying these new technologies to the rescue procedures currently carried out by the Health, Emergency and State Security Forces and Corps will be proposed.

– Improve the safety and success of search and rescue operations.

– Reduce the time spent searching for missing persons.

– Prevent disappearances by improving location systems for people at special risk.
