Description
TRUSTED poses the challenge of designing and developing a cybersecurity certification scheme for unmanned vehicles, as well as an advanced laboratory for experimentation, certification and accreditation of the robustness of unmanned vehicles against cyber threats.
One of its main objectives is to carry out security tests in a controlled environment with unmanned, autonomous and/or remotely controlled vehicles, to identify vulnerabilities and promote the development of solutions that can protect systems against intentional (or not) attacks and threats.
In addition, it seeks to offer advanced functionalities for the design, evolution, verification and validation of technical and functional developments of UAS technologies with cybersecurity criteria, based on the requirements of the TRUSTED certification scheme. For this reason, a simulator is also developed.
This simulator is an innovative tool of high technical value and complementary to the testing laboratory that will allow the integration and communication of commercial systems (hardware and software) in an agile way, increasing the capabilities of the certification scheme through a coordinated and centralized simulation. It also reduces costs by allowing the simulation of a great diversity of scenarios, providing coverage to different manufacturers.
