ITG Integrated Management System Policy

The main purpose of ITG technology centre is to provide high-quality services with significant added value in R&D&I, developing all its activities efficiently and effectively, including the management and implementation of research, technological development, innovation, and data security projects. The main aim of ITG is to satisfy its stakeholders, ensuring that everything is carried out properly from the outset. Furthermore, ITG promotes a culture focused on excellence, the systematic knowledge generation, and its development into sustainable technological impact.

In line with its strategy, ITG integrates innovation as a cross-cutting cornerstone of its organisational model, managing the opportunities, risks and uncertainties associated with R&D&I activities in a structured manner.

Therefore, the General Management, together with all employees involved in the provision of services and R&D&I project management, aware of the importance of Quality, Research, Technological Development, Innovation, Enviroment and Data Security, ITG has decided to implement a Quality, Innovation, Environmental and Data Security Management System that suits the requirements of all stakeholders. The established principles are set out below:

  • Comply with the legal requirements established in the UNE-EN-ISO 9001, UNE-EN ISO 27001, UNE-EN ISO 56001, UNE-EN ISO 14001 and National Security Scheme (ENS) standards, together with those set internally, by customers and by current environmental regulations at local, national, and international levels.
  • Satisfy the needs of interested parties.
  • Implement continuous improvement as a standard of conduct, with its corresponding review and control, constantly seeking new ways to optimize processes, minimize impacts, and increase efficiency.
  • Encourage teamwork and creativity among staff, giving them the freedom to contribute new R&D&I concepts, promoting, and encouraging the development of R&D&I activities, promoting experimentation and learning based on managing uncertainty, and thus committing to innovation activities.
  • Protect and leverage the results of R&D&I activities to preserve and enhance market position and competitiveness, ensuring their enhancement and effective transfer to the business community and society.
  • Provide the best human resources and promote continuous training to increase service quality and generate the know-how needed for their implementation.
  • Provide the necessary financial resources for R&D&I and Information Security activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as well as traceability and authenticity, in short, the security of all activities and services provided.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities that arise in the environment and reduce potential risks that could arise from security breaches.
  • Incorporate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to the Centre’s activities.
  • Environmental protection, featuring efficient natural resource management, climate change mitigation, protection and conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems, and the promotion of sustainable practices throughout the value chain.
  • Implement ethical codes within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy and an Equality Plan within the organisation.

The efficiency and implementation of the ITG’s Integrated Management System is directly under the responsibility of the General Management. There is also a Quality, R&D&I and Safety Committee headed by the General Management, which will supervise the implementation, development and maintenance of the System, evaluating its suitability and correct implementation. This Committee has enough authority to take action it deems necessary in order to verify the application of the System, identify problems, ensure its effectiveness, and coordinate activities that may affect the quality of services.

Anyone in the organization is required to strictly comply with the aforementioned principles.

ITG management is committed to developing the guidelines set out in the Manual in terms of Quality, Innovation, and Safety.
