The main mission of the Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia (ITG) and BREEAM ES is to offer quality services, developing efficiently and effectively all its activities, including the management and execution of BREEAM assessor certifications. Being the main axis of its existence the satisfaction of its stakeholders, so that the standard of doing things right the first time is an objective of ITG and BREEAM ES.
Therefore, the General Management together with all the workers involved in the provision of BREEAM services, aware of the importance of Quality, has decided to carry out the implementation of a Quality Management System for the Certification of BREEAM ES Advisory Staff that meets the needs of the interested parties. The following principles have been established:
- Comply with the legal requirements established in the UNE-EN-ISO 9001 and UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17024 standards and those set internally.
- To satisfy the needs of interested parties.
- To implement continuous improvement as a standard of conduct.
- To optimally control and follow up the personnel certified according to the established system.
- Maintain, renew, extend, reduce and/or suspend issued certifications.
- Provide the necessary financial resources.
- Ensure the independence, impartiality, confidentiality and integrity of the certification process, as well as that of its organisational structure and related bodies.
- Incorporate the best human resources and promote continuous training, in order to increase the quality of services and generate the necessary knowledge for their execution.
- Guarantee the evaluation and decision on certification in any of the schemes contemplated.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities arising in the environment.
The effectiveness and implementation of the ITG’s BREAM ES Quality Management System is the direct responsibility of the ITG’s General Management. There is also a Certification Committee that will ensure compliance with the BREEAM ES Advisory Personnel certification.
Everyone in the organisation is obliged to strictly comply with the aforementioned principles.
The ITG management is committed to developing the Quality and R&D&I guidelines set out in the Manual.
