Description

The project developed for BlueQuality has focused on the design and validation of an advanced computer vision prototype applied to karting circuits, with the goal of automating the capture of customer photographs during the activity. The solution will employ computer vision technologies, image processing, and object tracking, enabling precise detection of karts and their numbering to associate each image with the correct driver. In addition, algorithms will be implemented to optimize image capture at strategic points along the track, ensuring a personalized and efficient experience.

Objectives:

  • Technological evaluation and initial consulting: Analyse the most suitable technologies for advanced vehicle tracking on karting circuits and define an integration plan tailored to BlueQuality’s needs.
  • Development of the automatic tracking and capture prototype: Implement a system based on machine learning and deep learning for kart detection and tracking, identifying their numbers and capturing images at key points of the circuit.
  • Adaptability and scalability: Design the system to be flexible for different circuit configurations and scalable for future expansions or improvements.
