PowerLog
The first Logistics platform for route optimization with Artificial Intelligence
Description
PowerLog is an initiative funded by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism through the 2023 call of the support program for AEIs (Business Innovation Clusters). The general objective of this project is to boost digitalization in the logistics sector through industrial research in innovative data homogenization technologies and advanced algorithms that improve the efficiency and sustainability of the sector. The platform will use AI algorithms and quantum computing to analyze and optimize shipping routes, container loading, and the scheduling of transportation means. We aim to revolutionize not only the maritime logistics industry by improving process efficiency and reducing costs for companies making international shipments but also logistics in general, integrating into a single platform a route optimization system that includes maritime and land logistics. Specific objectives:
– Improve logistical process efficiency: by reducing the time and resources needed to carry out shipments, significant cost savings can be achieved, and productivity can be increased.
– Improve customer satisfaction: ensuring that shipments arrive on time and in the best conditions improves the customer experience and increases loyalty and commitment.
– Foster innovation and competitiveness: the implementation of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence can differentiate a company in a highly competitive market and encourage innovation in the sector.
– Facilitate collaboration and information exchange: the platform can allow greater collaboration and coordination among the different stakeholders in the logistical process, such as transportation service providers, customers, and customs agents.
– Reduce environmental impact: by using artificial intelligence algorithms to optimize shipping routes, the platform can reduce the distance traveled and, therefore, greenhouse gas emissions.
