Category National
Sectors Agriculture and Livestock, Food Processing
Execution Period 2025 - 2026
Funding Ministerio de Industria y Turismo. Programa de Apoyo a los Digital Innovation Hubs (PADIH)

Description

The project’s main objective is to facilitate the transformation of Airas Moniz dairy company’s operational management through the implementation of the Flythings IoT platform, moving beyond a traditional model based on manual records and spreadsheets that generated data dispersion and errors. This new technological solution allows for the integration and centralization of production, environmental sensor, and sales information in a single environment, eliminating the scalability limitations of the previous system. Thanks to this digitization, the artisanal cheese factory has continuous and automated monitoring that facilitates advanced analysis and real-time decision-making, optimizing the efficiency of its entire value chain.

Objectives:

  • Digitization and Data Integration: Replace manual records and spreadsheets with an operational digitization tool integrated into Flythings IoT, eliminating errors and centralizing production information.
  • Automated Plant Monitoring: Integrate a network of sensors for the continuous capture of critical variables stored as time series, guaranteeing real-time quality control.
  • ERP Synchronization: Implement an API to automate sales data ingestion, ensuring an up-to-date business overview and eliminating duplicate administrative tasks.
  • Decision-Making Optimization: Provide a scalable, low-cost infrastructure that allows for anticipating production needs, improving traceability, and strengthening strategic business efficiency.
