Intelligent sensor system for food safety, quality control and resource efficiency in food industry
Description
S3FOOD aims to facilitate the digitalization of the food processing industry. It works by promoting the incorporation of intelligent sensors in production processes for the generation of digital data and its subsequent processing and exploitation using big data. All of this allows us to improve quality control, resource efficiency and complete traceability of the food production process.
In addition, it provides three tools to facilitate the digitalization of the food industry:
- Training: Practical and visual information on the application of digital solutions in the food sector.
- Matchmaking: S3FOOD organizes and subsidizes attendance at two meetings with the aim of promoting innovative projects.
- Interactive Map: A visual tool by thematic priority of suppliers, skills and technologies available in each of the regions involved.
This initiative establishes a broad intersectoral community in which companies from the agri-food sector, 4.0 technology providers and machinery producers participate, thus allowing the creation of new cross-border industrial value chains.
